That’s Why I Bought A Jeep

Love it or hate it, the "I bought a Jeep” retail campaign became part of the vernacular and moved a lot of metal. In this extension of the campaign we were tasked to get more features into the platform.

You never know what you’ll find in a Jeep. Could be a glorious surf spot or an amazing forest somewhere… A Sasquatch. But also you might be surprised to find a few features and services that come standard in a Jeep too.

 
 
 
 

We launched the campaign by leaking a video onto social media of what appeared to be a Sasquatch being impressed by a Grand Cherokee… Once the video got a bit of attention, we then revealed the new ad to the public.

We continued the campaign on social with our Sasquatch checking out various Jeep models, highlighting the features and services that come standard in each Jeep.

After the Sasquatch ran for a while, we then extended and refreshed the campaign with something else you might find when you have a Jeep… a cast away.

The campaign was also supported by posters in Jeep dealerships and dynamic retargeting banners and that called out different models, proof points and specific offers based on audience.
